Privacy Policy

Bandmate Touring LLC · Last updated May 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Bandmate Touring LLC ("Bandmate," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Bandmate web application and mobile apps (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who this applies to

Bandmate is a tour-management tool used by tour managers, artists, band members, crew, and production staff. Depending on your role you may create an account, be invited to a tour by a tour manager, or both. This policy covers everyone who uses the Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your tour content for advertising.

4. How information is shared within a tour

Bandmate is collaborative by design. When a tour manager adds you to a tour, information relevant to that tour is visible to the appropriate people on it. For example, schedule items, travel, and notifications may be shown to the crew or groups they are addressed to. Tour managers and users designated as management can see tour-wide information for tours they run. Only share details you're comfortable making available to your touring party.

5. Service providers

We use a small set of trusted providers to run the Service. They process data only on our behalf:

ProviderPurpose
SupabaseDatabase, authentication, and file storage
VercelApplication hosting and delivery
StripeSubscription payments and billing
ResendTransactional email (invitations, notifications)
SentryError and crash diagnostics

These providers maintain their own security and privacy practices. We share only what is needed for each provider to perform its function.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your account and associated data, subject to limited retention required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Backups are purged on a rolling basis.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

8. International data transfers

Bandmate is operated from the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Because Bandmate supports international touring, your data may be transferred across borders. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated access, and row-level security on our database so users only access data they're permitted to. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for professional use by adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
